Earth Day is here, and to mark the occasion NAHB is encouraging home owners everywhere to take simple steps to reduce energy use — and to think green when they buy a new home.

“We are all proud of the significant steps our members have taken to make new homes more energy-efficient,” said NAHB President Sandy Dunn. “More than 100,000 green homes have been built by our members in home builders association programs around the country....

If you're conscious of how much water you use in the bathroom, you'll be helping the planet, and keeping your wallet full.
1.Fix leaky toilets and dripping faucets
2.Turn off water while shaving or brushing you teeth.
3. Plug the bathtub before turning on the water and adjust the temperature as the tub fills.
4. Replace your faucets and shower heads with new, low flow models.

Our Project Managers recently received their level 1A Certification for completing required coursework on the following topics: erosion and sedimentation control, the Georgia Erosion & Sedimentation Act, NPDES Permits, field maintenance, stream buffers, vegetative and structural BMP practices.

This education and certificate training program was provided by the Georgia Soil & Water Conservation Commission.
